Quick Q&A

Favourite holiday destination?

Turkey

How do you like to spend your spare time?

Driving, and therefore road trips

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

An engineer for the F1 motorsport

QWhat advice would you give someone looking to get into your field?

Prepare yourself, this is a not a regular 9-to-5 job! Offshore operations are usually delivered on a 24-hours basis. And as a globally based and operating organisation, we are often collaborating with our international colleagues and clients in different time zones, so here can be some early mornings and late nights. We also work with many associates to deliver offshore operations for clients. This work can be quite ad-hoc, so you need to be pretty flexible. But RPS management values a healthy work/life balance, and so the business is happy for us to flex our work time. When you love what you do, it’s all doable – go for it.

RPS can support you to manage your offshore project risk, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
